Are There Cannabis Dispensaries on Ibiza?

There are no cannabis dispensaries on Ibiza. The US-style dispensary model does not exist in Spain — cannabis here is not sold over a counter to the public.

Ibiza Cannabis Clubs does not sell cannabis. We are an information service — what you can buy from us is an introduction to a club, never a product.

What Ibiza uses instead

Instead, Ibiza uses cannabis social clubs: private, members-only associations. You join as a member (18 or older, with valid photo ID), admission is at each club's discretion, and cannabis is shared within the club under its own rules. Many clubs welcome visitors as new members through their introduction process.

Find a club

Ibiza Cannabis Clubs is the directory and introduction service for these clubs — browse them across the island, and we connect you with the right one and make joining easier.

Dispensary vs. cannabis social club

A US-style dispensary is a licensed retail shop: any adult customer can walk in, browse a menu and buy over the counter. A Spanish cannabis social club works the other way around — it is a private, non-profit association, not a shop, and only registered members can access it. You do not buy from a public till; you access cannabis as a member, inside the club, under that club's own internal rules. Ibiza has clubs, not dispensaries, because Spanish law does not permit the dispensary model.

Who can become a member

Anyone 18 or older with valid photo ID can generally apply to join a club, though final admission is always at the individual club's discretion. Registration usually happens before your first visit, though many Ibiza clubs also offer same-day sign-up for visitors. Once you are a member, you follow that specific club's own rules for access.

Can I just walk in?

No — a club is not a walk-in shop. You register as a member first (18 or older, valid photo ID), though many Ibiza clubs offer same-day sign-up, so "walk in and join today" is realistic even where "walk in and buy" is not.

Where to find one

Clubs are spread across the island's main towns — Ibiza Town, San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, Sant Josep and Sant Joan each have their own small cluster, so wherever you are staying, one is usually close by.

What it costs

There is no dispensary-style price list. What you pay is a club membership fee, set and disclosed by each club, plus our own introduction-service price, always shown before you confirm.

Is this legal for me as a visitor?

Yes, in the same sense it is for anyone: private consumption is decriminalized in Spain, and a registered members' club operates inside that same private space. You do not need Spanish residency to join — you need to be 18 or older with valid photo ID.
